Sue Swallow

Sue Swallow short bio


Sue has been acting from a very young age, turning professional after a successful corporate career in learning and development.  She has appeared in the plays of Noel Coward, Alan Ayckbourn and Alan Bennett.  Sue has a great ear for accents and puts these to good use in her Improv characters. In 2018 she appeared in ‘Baby Steps’ a short film that was a top four finalist in the Shakespeare Short Film Competition. 2018 also saw her putting her improv skills to good use in an Art film directed by Dr Richard Whitby. She has kicked off 2019 playing a fierce restaurant critic and filming a student sitcom pilot playing a bar propping, wisdom giving widow for the University of Westminster.

She is currently studying Meisner with Scott Williams at the Impulse Company. She trained with a variety of tutors as part of the London Actors Workshop including; John Melainey, Sally Knyvette, Ariella Eshed, and Glyn Steele.   She has a great love of comedy and has studied Improvisation with Hoopla and The Nursery, two of London’s premier Improv Schools.  She has also studied Clown with Peta Lily.
