Ian played Arthur in The Flood, written by DHW Mildon, and directed by Simon Evans. The play, which is “vividly realised by the actors” (The Stage) tells the story of Grace, who is suffering the onset of Alzheimer’s while her patient husband, Arthur, is haunted by the memories of war. Exeunt magazine described Chaplain’s performance as “outstanding”.
